Our first-party reviews carry both ends of a shipment: the member’s state and, when the review is about a pharmacy, that pharmacy’s location. Grouped by distance, the flat destination map turns into a staircase. A vial filled in your own state draws complaints 9.3% of the time. Past 800 miles it is 28.2%, roughly three times the local rate.
That also explains the flat map. Texas and Florida hold just over half the compounding pharmacies in our directory, so members in hot states live close to their supply: a typical ride of roughly 600 miles, with 39.8% never leaving the state. Members in cool states wait on roughly 1,500 miles. Hot porch, short trip; cool porch, long one. The two cancel out.
A lead, not a verdict. It rests on 244 shipments, and distance is measured between state centers rather than door to door. The gradient does survive dropping Texas and Florida destinations, and dropping the largest pharmacy.
