If the fulfillment step really was the bottleneck, the wave should also show up upstream, on the review pages of the compounding pharmacies themselves. We label those reviews separately: 20,736 reviews carrying 3,887 shipping mentions in 2025.
It does. Pharmacy-review shipping complaints peaked at 59.8% in May, a month after the provider-review peak, then fell through the autumn. Two different sets of reviewers, writing about two different links in the same chain, describe the same year.
The pharmacy corpus is concentrated: one large 503B facility supplies 70.7% of the 2025 mentions. Exclude it entirely and the shape survives (42.3% warm against 30.2% cold), so this is an industry pattern with one very loud member.
