I am a woman in my 20s who has been on compounded tirzepatide for 3 months and is at a 5 mg dose. I found AltRx from social media. This is a review of my experience with AltRx in my own words.
TL;DR
AltRx is a telehealth provider selling compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide through a quick, checklist-style intake I finished in one sitting on my phone. The first month of compounded tirzepatide was $149 with the SUMMERPROMO code that was automatically applied. They had one of the cheaper prices I saw for GLP-1s with free shipping and $0 due until a provider actually prescribed it. I finished the intake on a Saturday, the prescription was written the next day, and the medication was at my door by Tuesday via FedEx Standard Overnight.
The intake is text-based only. No labs, no video visit, and no ID verification at any point. My vial was compounded tirzepatide with B12 (10mg/0.5mg/mL) made by Greenwich and dispensed by PerfectionRx in Boynton Beach, FL, which I only learned when the bottle showed up.
A few things to know going in: there's a countdown timer "reserving" your discount, you can't go back a page in the intake to fix an answer, and I never got a login link for the portal, so I couldn't see my order or message anyone after checkout. AltRx has its own app, but it sits at 2.4 stars on the App Store. AltRx carries an overall score of 1.8 stars out of 5 across 194 reviews on GLP Winner as of August 2026.

What is the AltRx intake and timeline like?
I found AltRx through social media. The form ran through height and weight, goal weight, date of birth, sex, and a symptom checklist (bloating, hair loss, skin issues), then mental health, current medications, pain medications, weight loss surgery, and past weight loss programs. It asked about blood pressure and resting heart rate, but no labs were requested or required. It also asked what state my medication would ship to and for my phone number.
Partway through, AltRx told me I could expect to lose 3.3 to 3.7 pounds per week and reach my goal in "16.67 weeks." Their own fine print on the same screen says patients on GLP-1 therapy typically see 15% to 20% total body weight reduction over 12 months, and the projection they showed me works out to a lot more than that, a lot faster. At the medical review step it calculated my BMI (36.6) and called me a "strong candidate" with a "94% chance of successful treatment if qualified," which reads more like marketing than medicine. There was also a countdown timer for the deal I was getting, which made me feel like I needed to hurry a bit.

They did not mention the different pharmacies they used at all in our interactions. I found out which pharmacy filled my compounded tirzepatide when it arrived. However, I did find in the app which pharmacies they are partnered with.
I only found the pharmacy list by digging around in the app afterward.
Here are the parts that stood out to me:
- No ID verification anywhere. Nobody confirmed I am who I said I am, not with a license photo, not with the last four of my Social.
- You can't go back. The intake only moves forward, so if you fat-finger an answer there's no fixing it, which is kind of annoying.
- A countdown timer. Checkout has a "Your Discount is Reserved for 9:53" style timer ticking at you while you decide.

How fast does AltRx ship?
Was AltRx shipping fast? Yes, honestly the fastest part of the whole experience. I signed up on a Saturday, the prescription was written Sunday, and the package was at my door by Tuesday, sent FedEx Standard Overnight with a green "REFRIGERATE UPON ARRIVAL" sticker on the outside.
The packaging was a FedEx Large envelope with an insulated foil liner inside, and the medication and supplies sat in a foil pouch with two gel packs. The gel packs were still cold and the temperature read 41 degrees Fahrenheit when they arrived.
It showed up Tuesday, FedEx Standard Overnight, with the refrigerate sticker on the front.

The vial itself came inside an amber prescription bottle. The vial is labeled compounded Tirzepatide + B12 Injection, 10mg/0.5mg/mL, a 2mL multi-dose vial, made by Greenwich. The pharmacy label directed me to inject 50 units (0.50 mL) subcutaneously once weekly for 4 weeks, which is a 5 mg weekly dose, and my name and the prescription date matched my intake. The dispensing pharmacy on the label was PerfectionRx at 2017 High Ridge Rd, Boynton Beach, FL. The BUD date was 9/15/26 with the standard 28-day discard window from first puncture.

Was AltRx support responsive?
AltRx has its own app, published by Trinity Healthcare Supply LLC, with dosage tracking and weight progress screens. It sits at 2.4 stars across only 5 ratings on the App Store. The app has all of their product offerings and a weight loss tracker, and you can also contact support there.
The support through the app responded to my questions very quickly. It was under 10 minutes and the response seemed like a human response and not AI.
There was no place to cancel my next month within the portal, so I had to contact support. They offered a buy now, pay later option and highlighted all of their pricing before cancelling the plan through chat.

What do other AltRx reviews say?
After ordering, I read AltRx reviews and found they have many negative reviews that are current and in the past. On Trustpilot they have 511 reviews as of July 31, 2026, with 73% of them being 1 star reviews. Trustpilot also has them listed with a warning about fake reviews that have already been removed.
I did not experience any delays, labeling, or billing mistakes with AltRx, but it does seem like many people are experiencing issues.

Who is AltRx a good fit for?
AltRx delivered exactly what it sold me, fast. If you're an experienced GLP-1 patient who knows your dose, knows what to check on a dispensing label, and mostly cares about price and speed, the $149 first month and the overnight FedEx shipping are real advantages. The support responded quickly also. Be aware of what other reviews are saying though, since everyone's experience varies (and next month may be different) to make sure you're prepared for any issues given the overall review ratings.
Who is AltRx a bad fit for?
If you're new to GLP-1s, or you want to see or speak to a provider on the phone or video, AltRx might not be the provider for you. For many new to GLP-1s, the lower review scores and mentions of communication and shipping issues will not be appealing to anyone just trying out GLP-1s, so the risk may not be worth it. For anyone looking for a more 'support' oriented provider who offers nutrition, video calls, and more clinician support, this may not be the provider for you.

Did AltRx ship cold and insulated?
It shipped overnight in an insulated foil liner with two gel ice packs and a "REFRIGERATE UPON ARRIVAL" sticker. There was no temperature indicator in the package, though, so there's no way to confirm the medication stayed in range during transit. The gel packs were still cold when mine arrived, which is a good sign for a summer delivery.
