[SABINA-UPDATED] Pharmacy location can mitigate summer shipping woes.
In our product, reviews are sourced from Trustpilot, Google Reviews, and our own GLP Winner reviews. However, Trustpilot and Google Reviews don't have the reviewer's location, so for this graphic, we sourced this information exclusively from GLP Winner reviews. There were a total of 1,287 first-party reviews, and 706 of them mentioned shipping.
The complaint rate is calculated from the corpus of 677 reviews that mention shipping where for each state there are at least 5 reviews that mention shipping.
Contrary to intuition, hot-summer states have a complaint rate of 28.3% and cool-summer states with a complainte rate of 27.2%, only a 1.1% difference. Florida has the lowest rate of the 11 best-sampled states. Minnesota is tied for the highest. You'd think that warmer states would have more shipping complaints.
One of the reasons is where the medication is made. Texas and Florida hold 52.2% of the compounding pharmacies in our directory, so members in hot states live close to their supply: a typical ride of roughly 600 miles, with 39.8% never leaving the state. Members in cool states wait on roughly 1,500 miles. A hot porch at the end of a short trip and a cool porch at the end of a long one produce about the same complaint rate.
